Introduction

This last June I had the opportuniy to go to Panama City Beach, Florida with my boyfriend,Jesse, and his entire family. It was the two of us, his mom and dad, his sister, her husband, and their two boys Ethan and Lucas. During this trip we were staying in a condo on the 22nd floor of The Shores of Panama. Below you can see the view that we had from our room. We arrived on a Saturday and we had a full weekend packed full of activites. My favorite thing that we did that week was renting a pontoon boat in the bay near the beach. Here we saw lots of dolphins really close to the boat and hung out on an islad where it was just us for hours. Also while here we visitied St. Andrews State Park.

Sight Seeing

One of the days we drove down to a national park and walked around looking for shells. Again, here we were one of the only people there which is always nice, especially in a place like Panama that is super crowded all the time. Since this place is not crowded you can often times find lots of nice shells if you time it right with the tides and enjoy and little bit more of a relaxing time on the beach enjoying the scenery without a thousand people walking by and sharing the same space as you. I highly recommend visiting here if you ever go to PCB!

My Attempt at Deep Sea Fishing

One of the last days we all decided that we would go deep sea fishing. We all went on a party boat that takes you about 20 miles off shore with a company names "Jubilee." I was super exicted about going because deep sea fishing has always been on my bucket list. With our large group we found enough space for us to all be together at the vert front of the boat. On the way out to the fishing spot, the captain came over and told us that there were one to three foot waves that we would be hitting and that we needed to fish with caution since we were at the front of the boat. I honestly did not think anything about it considering I love being on the water and have never been effected by the weather. When we started getting further out off shore the waves got bigger and bigger, to the point where it was knocking people around because the front of the boat is the roughest spot, we were going to high up and then falling at least six feet down slamming into the water. About five minutes into that I was sick. VERY SICK. So I ran to the back of the boat where they told us to go if that were to happen where one of the deck hands found me. I was so sick that they were worried about me and took me into their office with the AC and a cold rag. There I slept for a few hours because that was the only way I could feel any relief. About three hours later I thought that I was feeling better and I wanted to go fish, since that is what we had paid and hoped to do in the first place, so Jesse came and got me and took me back out there to fish. As soon as I got my line in the water some dolphins started swimming along side the boat but I wasnt able to see them for long because I was sick again. Long story short, I was back in the office napping away until the boat was back in the bay where there was no waves.
