The last trip that I took was to Cape San Blas before it was hit by the hurricane this year.
Cape San Blas is a small beach town that still does not have any high rise condos or hotels. It is still all
private houses and one neighborhood that is townhouses. I love this about going to the Cape because there
is never too many people around to crowd your space on the beach. To me, I think this is a great family vacation
spot because it is mostly other families and older couples that have retired here because it is so easy going.
Unlike other beaches you can have a fire on the beach which is nice, you can lay on the beach all day and then bring dinner
down to the fire to enjoy the the beautiful sunsets.

The last time that I went to the Cape, me and my friends Kaitlyn decided to take a spontaneous trip down because her grandma owns one of the townhouses there. It was a really nice trip because since it was just the two of us there was no time schedule that we had to be on, or going with whatever anyone else wanted to do. We went to bed when we wanted, we ate all we wanted and when we wanted, we sat on the beach peacefully with no interuptions all day, and we were actually able to relax becuase the beach was so calm. Little did we know it would be the last time we ever saw the cape like that again because the storm was coming soon after. We had a great week sitting on the beach relxing while we listened to the waves and read our books until the sun went down then went back to the house and ate and watched movies for hours.
